Tim Ruffner, co-founder, decided in 2017 to shake up the recruiting industry. With JOIN, they want to tackle chaotic and expensive hiring solutions and help recruiters work smarter and more efficiently, as well as making it easy and convenient for the candidate to apply.

 

Q : How would you briefly describe your company ?
A : We built a simple solution for SMBs to attract qualified talent faster and more efficiently - mainly a software that posts jobs on multiple platforms with one click.

Q: Which markets will you target ?
A: Switzerland, Germany, Austria and new European markets as France, Spain and others.

Q: What are your sales projections?
A: Most likely we will double our sales every year.

Q : How will you get there ?
A : We build a scalable e-commerce solution, will take additional outside funding (venture capital) and scale client success as well as marketing to attract more clients.

Q : Will the team structure change ?
A : No, will be the same team we will just add additional team members in product development, software development and more people in client success.

Q : What are you looking for in terms of talent ?
A : High IQ, EQ (emotional) and AQ (adaptability), high passion, ideal experience - positive nuclear energy we call that ;)

Q : What sort of people do you hire ?
A : Software developers and client success managers.

Q : How will you grow the business ?
A : We will increase our marketing budget, hire more software developers to build a larger more appealing solution to clients.

Q : Do you see the accounting as a tool that will help you monitor this growth ?
A : Yes, it would help us - kind of CFO as a service, as we currently don't have that.

A : Innovative, agile, lean.

A : Northern Switzerland Luxembourg and France.

A : Very difficult to say.   Everything is all over the place with potential new products and projections for each produce area.  In traditional areas to stabilise and arrive again at pre-Covid levels would be good.

Q : How will you get there ?
A : Cut costs.  Review each business branch with taking into perspective Covid impact.  Re-incentivise team. Targeted marketing.

Q : Will the team structure change ?
A : Perhaps - cost cutting in some areas.

Q : What are you looking for in terms of talent ?
A : Business development and property management.

Q : What sort of people do you hire ?
A : Innovative, entreprenurial, self starters, who are able to work on their own.

A : As normal.  Reflection, spotting opportunities, taking calculated risks.

A : Yes - it is essential to analyse the success or not of a project and prior to investing the likely outcome.
